The first BioTreatED project webinar was successfully held on 29 January 2026, bringing together more than 30 participants, primarily from the water management and environmental sectors.

The programme featured presentations by Diána Heilmann (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, EUSDR PA4) on water quality priorities in the Danube Region, Nikoletta Bunász Mészárosné (KÖTIVIZIG) on the status of groundwater bodies, Dr Edit Kaszab (MATE), BioTreatED Project Coordinator, on the project’s objectives and expected outcomes, and Dr Gergő Tóth (MATE) on endocrine-disrupting compounds and analytical methods.

The presentations were followed by an active professional discussion, contributing to the wider dissemination of the BioTreatED project’s objectives and research approach.
